In mij Ford I have an in-car-media system called Sync3.0
The carsystem uses an App (FordPass) on my phone for live traffic information for the navigating part and all kinds of information about the car.
It only works if I have in my Bluethooth setting "Media-audio" setting enabled so the car system has access to the media on my phone.
The problem is that Igo Israel (9.18.27.681611) with Pongo skin 16-2-2020) has a conflict with this setting. The spoken instructions are mute.
I suspect Igo wants to connect through BT to the car speakers. But is not fully compatible.
I saw in the Pongo settings the option "only speaker" under sound setting.
I toggled this setting but it does not seem to work.
Should "only speaker" on or off to get the sound over the phone speaker and not the carsystem?
Does the setting work? It is the first time I saw this in de settings, or is it broken?
If I switch the BT setting "Media-audio" off Igo is working normally with the phonespeaker. But than mij carsystem has no traffic information and I can not communicate with the car.
I use Android 10.
Thanks for the link.
I going to have a look at it.
I tried and now Igo is using the phone speaker and the Ford app stays connected.
But I do not know exactly how I solved it.
I tried al 7 BT channels conform the link above, but none worked.
Then I noticed that the line in my sys.txt was: navigation_audio_stream = 4. I changed this in navigation_audio_stream=4 without spaces,
but at the same time I cleaned my cache memory for the Igo app on my phone.
Now it is working and Igo is through my phone speaker.
But the toggle switch in the Pongo skin is not working. It shoult force the phone speaker. In other programs like Flitmeister you have the same option to force the phone speaker and that works well.
Extra spaces were a problem.
