    Default map color

    Hi,
I have two gps units running Nextgen, one is running Israel iGO687WD_IL and the other Pal iGO719WD, both 1024*600 res
The one running Israel has many different colors selectable for day and night maps but the Pal one has only one color for day and one for night.
I have searched the Igo directories to see if I can find missing or different files between the two versions but come up with nothing.
Can someone tell me how to get the extra color choices for the maps? BTW the Pal one is running Here maps and the Israel is running TomTom.
(I am trying to change the Pal one to TomTom once I sort the global_cfg not found issue)

    Thanks

    Baz

Compare the contents of the scheme folders.
What are the skins being used?

Thanks for the reply. There are no "scheme" folders on either version in contents, which is strange as the Israel version does have color options. I am running pongo skin. There is no skin folder either. Do you suggest that I add a scheme folder with appropriate schemes? where would I get ones that are compatible with Nextgen pongo 1024x600?

One other thing and I haven't checked it with the new TomTom maps, is that when approaching what I am assuming is a red light/speed camera, I get a voice warning in a foreign language other than the TTS voice I have selected. I had this happen once before on a wince version of Primo and the only fix was to install another version. Has any one ever had any experience with something like this?
    Thanks
    Baz

you can take my two schemes and paste them into the Folder Content/scheme/ , It's a little like TomTom Map.

    ** iGO-Primo-Nextgen scheme are interchangeable **

    Warning in Russian Lithuanian:
    ? delete audio.zip or audio-ru.zip in the ux/ folder?
    ? delete foreign WAV (DA/SC-Folder) in ui_nextgen/audio
! use only DA-/SC-Folders in your Language or as your ux-File (audio.zip)

Thanks for that, I had a look on the actual card and it does have schemes on the one that has color options. I was looking at my backup copy on my PC and there is no scheme folder on that one.
Funny, I don't remember adding it to the car card. I will do a current backup of the card after adding updated maps and will copy the schemes to the other vehicle and we should be all good.
