I don't understand why you want to use the default skin, it is true that in the last skins there are too many superfluous things, but there are also important and useful things. You can always decide not to activate the functions that do not interest you.

As you can see, with the Pongo Slin you have the largest Font Size of the time / destination and even the battery level on the navigation screen.
