Yes, I can replicate that behavior on my devices all the time
But 50 km/h is not the best if you plan long routes. And even if we find a best value, which will give us tomtom like navigation (or better), there remains the ETA bug then. iGO uses this value for time of arrival calculation.

    I do not think so.

The softwares base their calculations only on the maximum speeds allowed in the various roads and not at the maximum speed you assign to your car. The softwares are made to respect, and make you respect the limits and the road rules.
I tried to calculate a route of 140 km, almost all on the highway, duration 1 hour and 50 minutes. After I changed the max speed set for the car from 130 to 190 km/h and I had the same route calculated again...... nothing has changed ....

Well then you did not test it the right way.
As I told you, set it to 50 km/h and the routes won't use highways, set it to 200 km/h and it won't use city streets. Also the time of arrival is mainly calculated depending on that setting.

    Edit: Proof

Both calculated at the same time at the same location for same destination.

Conclusion: The faster the car/higher the tempo limit in your country (interpretation of 'maximum speed' in your vehicle profile) the slower the routes iGO calculates will be. Takes the 9 km detour to be able to drive fast while being slower at all. This doesn't make sense.
