Because it is intended for Zenec. Highly customized. Use standard Primo if it is possible to access the device.

Thank you for your reply. I am currently using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

This works fine on my Pioneer AVIC-F550BT but I would like to use something which looks abit more modern, like iGO Nextgen. Is there a version of iGO Nextgen that should work on my device?

Any standard version, like [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] edition. Or [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Toyota ver is just branded, not dedicated. Highly customized are Alpine, Blaupunkt, Zenec...and they are not recommended for use in other devices.
But, the more modern it does not have to mean it is better. To work all content, you have to provide all licenses for WinCE NG (none is complete). Some do not exist.
On the other hand, for complete function, Primo 2.4 need only two lics. As described [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Thank you again. I tried both the Toyota and Kajoe Pongo versions but with the same result. It keeps beeping fast 3 times and nothing happens. I did not even add anything yet. I just downloaded the Toyota version, unzipped it and put it on a SD-card.

Do you have any more suggestions?

I hope you are so instructed to know that you have to adjust a bit what you are downloaded. To keep same structure like on current setup - folder name, exe name...adjust sys file for GPS port&baud. Add global cfg, at least one map and its lyc

There is also one more possibility:
I can not find any info about it's GPS hardware specifications. But, since it is very old device, it is highly possible that device is too weak for NG.
So, stick with current version, or try [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Thank you so much!!! I got it to work. Apperently I wasn't that well instructed. I did do that all with iGO Primo 2.0 but I wasn't sure that that was necessary so I didn't do it this time. I used the Kajoe Pongo version. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
