Thread: iGO Primo Nextgen(Israel) 9.18.27.687519-sound issue

I put this program on my friend's Samsung s7 Note I think it is and a strange thing kept happening. I ran a simulation to make sure that the TTS was working but no sound was heard. I went into the program's sound settings to make sure it was turned on. It was off so I turned it on. Had my friend re-start his phone. Opened the program again to re-run a simulation and the sound was off again. Went to the phone's settings to check on its sound and it was turned on. Turned the program's sound option back on. Made sure that I exited properly so as to create a proper save folder. Went back into the program and the sound was again turned off.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply but I think it's something to do with the phone itself. But I will definitely consider your response.

I am using the same NG version 687519 on Galaxy S9 Oreo with german "Anna TTS-Pro from @sandor" voice. Everything is working ok. The only problem is that the announcements volume starts quiet and increases within ca. 0,5 sec to the full volume. With S7 and Android 7 the problem was not available. Any idea on this topic? thx

I have the same issue. I toggled the "gradually increase volume" setting in alarm volume under phone settings and that seemed to have worked. My phone updated overnight and the same problem came back. I toggled the "gradually increase volume" but this time it did not fix the problem. Still looking for a solution.

@sandor-Voice is a old Primo-Voice and never good für Nextgen, @Titanic has the best german voice v.12, contact him via PN

Change the number in navigation_audio_stream=4 to 3 for example . I had the same problem and this fixed to me.
