1. I have only this version of iGO [ANS India]on my device (with data folder name iGO, package name: com.nng.primoansnonav). I am using the version from here [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
It works fine in default data folder "iGO"
2. I wish to install classic old iGO Primo (package name: com.navngo.igo.javaclient) on the same device, which also need to be installed in default data folder "iGO".
3. So, so avoid conflict of same data folder, i need to change default data folder "iGO" of ANS version to some other folder like "iGO_Ans". To achieve it, I followed steps mentioned by WOB in his post as mentioned above. I changed the data folder name in APK's sys.txt using total commander and then signed the APK and installed it. When I run iGO ANS, it shows error "Insert iGO data card". But when I change the data folder directory on device back to "iGO", it works. I need to work it in directory "iGO_Ans"
I come back to this thread after two months and half (Better late than Never)
After trials we can change the data folder for iGO Primo this is a bit harder than with iGO NextGen
Here two identical versions except the signature :
Apk Name: iGO ANS
Folder Data: iGO_Ans
ApkFileName: iGO_ANS_9.6.29.341779.apk
Package Name : com.nng.primo.ans.nonav

We can install this new iGO Primo on the internal memory (SDCard int) without any risk of conflict.

Of course iGO Ans can be installed with iGO Pal on the internal memory.
Do not forget some precautions:
- The APK: iGO Pal and iGO Ans must have the same signature.
- The Data Folder ofiGO Palmust beiGO_Pal and notiGO at all. Because during the installation of iGO Ans it will look first for the Data Folder iGO if it finds it will install in, and if it does not get, it will install in the Data Folder iGO_Ans .
I hope I was clear.

Versions of Modemakias and Miochacha are for external SDcard
and the versions that I propose are for internal SDcard.
In your previous post you want an installation in internal SDcard .... ?? you changed your mind.
So what is the android version of your smarphone, what is the version of iGO currently installed (Version, Date and Post of download on the forum if possible ) in what memory internal or external... His folder name .... and which memory you want to add ..... all this we can not guess.
More details ..... we need more details.

Just a question for those who have succeed in installing diffferent Igo versions on their cellphones or gps devices: How did you manage to do that? I have a gps device that runs on Android 6.0 and Igo Primo Basar version that came pre installed. Now l have been trying to install Igo Nextgen Gift and iGO Primo Nextgen(Israel), even tried Igo Luna(i have the impression Luna only runs on Android 8or latter) but they all came up with "Application Not Installed".
I read the OP instructions on "How To" but most of the links are dead and can't do anything. Maybe someone can provide me with a modified or correctly signed version that can be installed.
Primo Basar... remove it, it is very old anyway It is problem. The easiest way (It is much easier to change or remove one apk than to adapt 10 others to it). Of course, you can back it up first.
If you want Primo continue to use, then use the package from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] for example. It is not in conflict with any of the newer ones.
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search. NO ONE IS A SEER, READ (click on): [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] <- Click! [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] <- Click!

Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
