- This application is not compatible with version 7.0 of the operating system or higher.
- To use AVICSYNC, please make sure you have the most current firmware version installed on your AVIC navigation system. For more details, please visit our website.
- The default language is English (UK). To change the language please refer to the AVICSYNC operating manual.
- If the information you download is extensive, transferring the data to your car navigation system via the AVICSYNC application may take longer. In this case, you can synchronize the content using the Naviextras tool on your computer and the "SyncTool" menu of your car navigation.

The software itself is not part of the Garmin ecosystem, so if you are an existing Tracks4Africa user on Garmin GPS, please do not expect to send routes and tracks between your computer and this platform. This is a stand alone navigation system for your Android device.

The use of the software requires that your device has a GPS and you would need to provide it with external power when used for prolonged periods as the GPS together with the screen will drain your battery in no time.
