this problem exist in all packages and not only 9.18.27.687519...
open "the_skin.zip\ui_nextgen\fonts" in ux folder and remove these fonts... (Dosis-Bold.ttf + Dosis-SemiBold.ttf)

you tried some more test ??
save a route ? or can you see the history ?
because all them saved in same place: iGO_xxx\save\profiles\01\users\00

if it can save settings for (lang, voice, ...etc) is not permission writing but something wrong or corrupted file?
delete the save folder or only profiles from within (do not miss the settings about lang,voice...etc)

if you have more than one app add in your sys.... in all apps and delete device.nng
from everywhere in your device...

all these versions work with no problem to me...
