This looks like fantastic stuff, thanks for taking the time to create these icons. I'm trying to get it to work on my Chinese (Eonon) double DIN unit. I'm running iGo Primo 2.4.

If I look at my own original Branding.zip file, it just contains a single "branding.ini" file, with nothing but software credits--nothing that seems to be anything in the way of a "setting". However, when I download your Branding.zip file, it has a similar branding.ini file, but also a /ui_igo9 folder, which contains four folders: Common, 800_480, defaults, and ICONS. My original iGo Primo 2.4 installation also has a /ui_igo9 folder (contained in the /content folder), but it only holds an 800_480 subfolder--none of the others. So...to install your icons, do I just copy the contents of your Branding.zip's "ui_igo9" folder to the contents of my own ui_igo9 folder? Or is there some other steps I have to do?

I thought it was just "replace your own Branding.zip with this downloaded Branding.zip", but I got all sorts of errors when I tried that, which makes sense I suppose, given that their content is different....?

    What error are you getting?

I should also note that I'm using WinCE. There is a Branding maker named KasteL, and he has 2 different downloads for his Branding. WinCe and Android. I haven't yet looked at the difference, but apparently there is. Try overwriting your branding.ini over mine.

    EDIT:
I'm looking into both of your problems, probably the same. I haven't a clue why it isn't working. One possibility is to overwrite the branding.ini as stated above. Another possibility is within the poi_visibilities.txt. The first line in mine is "|root", and in other branding it's "|root|0"

Try changing this. at the moment I don't have a gps running Android, so I can't help with that. If its WinCE, I guess I have to look a little deeper. Let me know if anything works.

    My Eonon is WinCE 6.

So just to clarify, can you tell me precisely what the installation process is supposed to be for your file? Is it simply overwrite the Branding.zip that already exists in my /content folder with your Branding.zip?

OK, I just tried copying your Branding.zip, overwriting my igo Primo 2.4's default Branding.zip. I don't get any errors. The POI's have changed from the default blue circles, but they don't show your branded icons, either. They now show, for instance, a bank symbol inside the blue circle indicating where a bank is on the map. Some of the POI circles are now coloured red, whereas before they were all blue.

So in other words some kind of change has occurred that changed how the POI circles look, but not the branding change I was expecting to see any ideas?
