    nextgen Overscan Chinese headunit

    Hello,

    I use iGO Nextgen Pal Premium 2025_Q2 with Pongo Skin in our motorhome.
    The device is a Junsun V3 Pro 8-core 4G 64GB 1280x720 resolution, 10.1 inches with A13.
    Part of the screen is hidden behind the edges of the device. Because of this, I can't see the route progress bar, for example, from the driver's seat.
    Ideally, the device should be rooted so I can adjust the screen with a screen resizer app. However, all the rooting tools I found are specific to certain phone types, and the Junsun V3 isn't among them. Is there another way to move the bar and other buttons by editing an iGO file?

    Thank you.

    This means that in fact the device is faulty? Or it has some other physical/electronic problem
    No rooting helps

    this means it has been moved to the right?

    iGO, like any application under Android, is made to work in full screen mode (without borders) or in a window with a frame that again occupies the entire screen
    Even when you change the software resolution, it only applies to the quality and detail's level of visual display

    And, in the case that only the window under iGO is moved to the right, and the other applications function normally, this again means that you have not set the software resolution in sys file.
    Then - make an effort, browse the Forum. Hint: dpi and base_dpi
    iGO has existed for over 20 years, all topics related to settings have been written, nothing new has been invented nor is there anything to write

    I watched a YouTube video about this Junit - the result: according to the descriptions, an incorrect or incorrectly adjusted SYS.txt file seems to be the cause 99% of the time.

    It usually works automatically with this SYS entry:
    Spoiler: read more

    [rawdisplay]
    screen_xy="auto"
    dpi="auto" ; or for example dpi=
    ;dpi=120
    ;dpi=160
    ;dpi=240
    ;dpi=320
    ;dpi=480
    ;dpi=640
    ;base_dpi = ??? ; maybe needed only for iGO Avicsync

    The entry for tablet mode was rarely needed
    [android]
    tablet=0 ; or =1 for landscape mode

    No, base_dpi actually makes a lot of sense at lower resolutions as well at very high
    And I know the exact values for the resolution of his device but I want him to make an effort It's been written many times
