Settings related to the type of fuel consumption of course use POI. They need POI to see if the type of fuel you use is present at that station (important for CNG/LPG/EV)
Calculations (average consumption) are done by the software - exe/apk and the corresponding ux
To be honest, I never use those options. I always plan the trip and before I start I check where to fill up the fuel.
Sometimes when I "go blind", I check on the way where the stations are and I roughly calculate where I need to refuel

How to see and use "Fuel Type" POIs
I'm sure the answer to this is blindingly obvious, but how and where do you actually use the fuel type data?

How to see and use "Fuel Type" POIs
Despite his reply elsewhere I simply do not understand how I can see and use the data contained in the Fuel Type pois.
The pois are listed in Primo under About/More/Help/More/Content/Places but I am unable to find the actual information anywhere in the software.
How exactly, for instance, can I use this data to locate an Electric Vehicle charger or a supplier of 98 petrol?
How can I adjust map settings to display only suppliers of my chosen fuel type?
Can anybody please explain in simple terms how this is done?

I'm actually not sure that regular Primo has such options. In other words, that there is an adequate ux

These POIs are not supported by all iGO Nextgen, only the healed Nextgen that do not require a license (e.g. iGO_PAL_9.18.27.719974) recognize these E-Car filling stations .POI

My current Android software is 9.18.687519 but I dont know how to tell if it is "healed".
The Fuel Type files are present and active in the contents area and I have recently updated the maps without problems. Petrol stations are turned on in Navigation View. Placemarkers for petrol stations are turned on under Map Appearance
And yet no fuel type information is available
Can you tell me what I am missing?
Screenshots showing how the Fuel Type is selected and where the information appears on the navi screen would be useful.

E-car stations are listed separately in the POI selection, under Gas Stations General.
All 64-bit apps display the HERE_FuelType.poi in red, indicating they are not supported – whether in 2024 or 2025, with or without a license.
iGo_Gift was/is, IMO, "cured" and no longer requires a license for map data 🤔---
