@HANDOUCHAO
1. What does [3D] show in your SYS text?
2. The only place you have access to try/start doing something with 3D is here: data.zip\ui_android\common\ui\navigatemap.lua
3. I don't think disabling 3D (or removing it), will have any effect on device memory (if it can be removed at all)...Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
No need to complicate
It is hardly that the memory of the device is a problem
WinCE OS and software doesn't work that way
I still haven't found a device that can't run even Primo 2, or 1.2. I don't take into account some specific ones that are software limited, but then iGO 8 works perfectly
Low memory error occurs when the software is overloaded with unnecessary licenses
Either an inadequate iGO package was installed, or package is overcrowded, or whatever. Or the device is faulty.
@HANDOUCHAO
Enough has been written and discussed about everything. Nothing new exists

Rather, the problem will be that the user is from China, and the iGO software is very specific for that region and the maps are huge
it was discussed at the Forum also
you can sum it up:
if content/ does not contain a *.dem file, then there is no 3D view.
DEM is a very memory-intensive file and can slow down weak WinCE PNA. Only the Basemap.fbl should be included and only the country map that you need, and no modified branding.zip. Then Primo 2.0 will also run on PNA - even previously installed on many PNAs from China....

ex calipoint say: my Knowledge of today is what I read yesterday 🧐😉
Yes, but iGO certainly changes the view even though it doesn't add relief
Only 2D can always be set in the options very simple, then there is certainly no relief, not even generic
Regular DEM, not premium, is not memory demanding.Settings > Map settings >
- View Mode > 2D
- Viewpoint > High
Again - looking for the wrong solution and not treating the cause
