Btw, in the past it happened a couple of times that they published an edition of maps that is not compatible with igo8. Nothing can help
I haven't tested this release with iGO8 so I can't claim that's the case here

    Use TomTom maps
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    Spoiler: obs
Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

Dont know is is same error, but my was like this.
I installed igo primo on newer Blueberry 7" (800x400 res.) navigation with 23.Q4 maps and, no problem with adress searching, but when search for poi, got crash: "failed to open file: images\logical_provider\mid\here.bmp exiting aplication." So this is solution. I just create new file (which is missing) named here.bmp from iGO\Ui_IGO9\800_480\EXITING1.BMP, and copy this file to compressed global_cfg folder\file - "iGO\CONTENT\global_cfg\global_cfg.zip\images\logical_provider\mid". I work with total commander, don't know if it is possible to copy file to the zip directly in the explorer, never use windows explorer /since volkov commander :P).

Probably missing (in old versions there used to be a file under icons) here.bmp some back arrow.
