    What defines ".lic" or ".lyc"?
Specifically, which programs use the ".lic" extension?
I have well-functioning old Primos and they are mixed in more than one, but most of them only have ".lyc".

They are defined by the software creators
lic originally came with the iGO 8 edition. As the software progressed, and with the advent of Primo, so did the licenses. Of course, they changed the whole license format, it's not just the extension
The software of course recognizes both formats (except iGO8 which cannot recognize lyc)
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    Spoiler: obs
Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.
