Their basic function is certainly the same, as are most of the addons.
However, the advantage of the Android edition is not that it is official, but a bunch of add-ons and the vast knowledge that is shared here.
That does not exist in apple's world.
If you want to pay for software from the iOS ecosystem, my recommendation is to buy TT GO.

iGO on iOS
Hello guys. I have a questions about iGO on iOS. I already have the newest iPad Air so I don’t want to buy another device, especially android. If I install legit app from App Store (paid) will I have the same features like on android device?
