iGO 9.8 are not good releases. They were initially intended for Far Eastern markets.

About sound ... discussed already many times (navigation_audio_stream parameter). Even after entering the parameters, it may not work properly.

It doesn't matter they are mentioned in the android topics, the problems are the same with the device....
There are a lot of topics that mention the sound problem on the devices, you just need to look for the appropriate sections.
With WinCE devices, such a problem is usually solely with the setting of the device itself.

Even if you copy the sys file from older edition and adapt it to the new software, there is still a good chance that it will not work the same way.
Unfortunately, with WinCE devices, some editions simply work better on some devices, and on some they don't work properly at all.
This is a two-way route, it can be to the launcher/system/hardware and it can be to a specific version of iGO, or a combo.

In the menu of device you have to choose iGO as the navigation you use (adjust path), in the system sound settings you can adapt volume....many devices, many different settings.
You look for possible solutions on the Forum and try them out.

If it's about the ZENEC you mentioned earlier, if you had read the topics concerning it more carefully, you would have realized that NO software other than theirs - DOES NOT WORK properly.
