Well, sorry Boki, i have the same here in The Netherlands.
fds is greyed out.
Did a search for a discussion about license for fds but cannot find anything.
So, if I understand correctly, post #8 is useless ?
Without license one cannot use it and lisence it's not available.

Yes .fds files do not replace .hsp files....... not the same infos at all

IMO are *.fds Telemetry Files and are probably related to 3D, if you read that out correctly from HERE. And my Guess; the Nextgen generation, that we currently operate, cannot really do anything with it, because it is supposed to have an indirect effect on the Vehicle of the Future. Probably because of this the "Version Error" summary - it is not the NextGen App that is intended for it.

Also, these files work exclusively with individual licenses valid for 6 months. After that period a new subscription must be paid.

interesting is....
Nextgen with pongo skin:
default under App-Info -> content: no curve warning
if * .fds are inserted in \ map, then -> content-> curve warning is activated
and the DEM is displayed as a curve warning file .....

But still, the fds ( greyed out ) shows that it's the wrong version ( Version Fehler ? ).
But still interesting.
But to be honest, I have no idea what it does, how to check if it works.
I don't see a setting for it to display the warnings on the map.
