    WIN CE iGO for Mio P350

    Hi

    I have a Mio P350 with an iGO 2006 running on it also with very old maps 2006. I try change a map, but doesn't recognize it.
    I understood there is another version of iGO 8.3.2.xx more recently which run on this device for recognize new maps 2018.
    Someone have it?
    How can I update maps on it?

    Wrong section. Will move this later

    - iGO from 2006, use different map format. For newer, you must use newer software > iGO 8.3+ or Primo.
    - just replace existing software with one downloaded from sticky software section (backup first). Your device is 3.5", so resolution is 320x240.
    Keep your current sys file, you will need port and baud values, also some other settings.

    You can try this very lite version that run also in MIO C250 and support new maps.
    You must search for your voice file.

    I don't know your device. Try renaming iGO folder to iGO 2006.

    doesn't work renaming the folder, because the native iGO 2006 is installing and has the structure in different way spread trough windows.

    Mio P350 is pocket PC (PDA), not standalone navi.
    iGO is not installed. Procedure is simple copy paste. Use some good file manager (CeCMD?) to find it and do needed.

    The structure of files is not interested for you nor your device. File structure is important only for program. (in the case of devices that use for example a Navitel or the original MIO, the structure is even more distinct). If you are replacing original software:
    What is important to you is where the folder is located, its name and the name of the main exe file. Should stay the same.
    If you put other software, and you pull out the shortcut - then you can do what you want.

    Main folder is named iGO8, main exe is named iGO8.exe, and should be located on memory card as I know.
    You can use even Primo, and give names you want - USS Enterprise if it is your wish...

    As I told, you should keep original sys file for important parameters.

    @Boki_srb thank you for your answer, but I can't agree with you, having the device in my front and playing with it. I even install/uninstall iGO 2006 having on SD card the installation kit.
    To prove what I say that is different I present you some print screens:

    Setup for installation:

    Device without iGO 2006

    I found 2 versions of iGO8 which can run on it. On inserting card it asking upgrade of iGO, is doing and at end is asking again update, and again, and again till I say no.
    Then it creates on main screen 2 shortcuts identical which run same application old 2006!!!

    iGO8 installed alone in Programs Files:

    Replacing the old files with the one from iGO8 don't run anymore anything.
    I left iGO8 folder separate and finally I managed to create a link in menu for iGO8, but I can't make build Save folder whatever I do, and always at start I have to remake the configuration. No mater of what version of iGO8 I tested from 2 which I have.
    I put various paths in Sys.txt and don't save anything:

    [folders]
    app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

    or
    app="\Storage Card\iGO8"
    or
    app="\Storage Card\iGO8"
    or
    app="%Storage Card%/iGO8"
    or
    app="%SD%/iGO8"

    I don't have anymore ideea.

    I found some info that exist a version iGO8 R3 v8.3.2.124260 for PDA & PNA build, but I can't find it.

    Learn to use spoilers. Read Forum Rules.

    Exactly!
    This in any case is not the original installation "Installation kit" on card is modified instalation of something else.
    What you have on the card was done by someone 11 years ago. Original thread is [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    As I said, use another clean card. Put iGO8 or Primo on it, adjust parameters in sys file (only for port and baud), run exe directly from card.
    Because I do not believe you are instructed to modify the installation script (NHF ), just do it simplest way.

    Ok. Sorry for forget to put spoilers.
    I mention that I managed to make run iGO8 ... in simplest way, just run .exe from card. But is not saving the settings .... with modifications done up in Sys.txt.
    If I can fix that it's enough with this story.

    Thanks
