Ok I was able to insert the missing SHIFT Key, but nothings happens on click. I guess they also kicked out the function in the keyboard.lua.
osiris4isis, could you please attach the keyboard.lua and your german_lang file for further investigation please?

Unfortunately I cant find a MyWay 8.5 Version for download. It is too old and all links are dead. So if anyone could attach the keyboard.lua and the german_lang file from the igo 8.5 version It would be very helpful.
    Thanks folks.

Well, I have "original" version. But it does not necessarily mean that it's the same as yours.
Here is German lang from it (have 24 of them):

By the way, I think you're wasting your time. Maybe I am wrong, but I think UI does not support different keyboard.

    P.S.
If you have week device, why don't you try with Primo 1.2?

THANKS for the german_lang. It's identical to mine. So the missing ShiftKEY function must lay in keyboard.lua.
Well I would give it a try, if I had a keyboard.lua (its within data.zip/ui_igo/common/UI/ ) from igo 8.5 that apparently has a the ShiftKEY function.

I don't get Igo Primo 1.2 to work with my Zenec nc2011d device.

MyWay 8.5 does not have keyboard.lua anywhere.

This is weird. Are you sure? Would you upload your data.zip? Maybe the functions are in another lua-script-file. I would like to investigate that.

I don't believe that. As far as I know version 8.5 supports upper and lower keys. keyboard.ini defines upper and lower letters as well as numbers separately. I will keep trying, cause I don't like my favorite POIS in uppercase. Yes I could manually edit user.upoi, but this is long-winded.

I'm not talking generally about Primo First Edition, then about Zenec UI.

But honestly, I did not see that features in other editions of 8.5
