that should work. The NX501E got 256MB RAM too. Maybe your own sys.txt is needed... And yes: its cracked
BTW: Maybe someone here get a clean and fast skin to provide so i could use it ?!

70 mb free ram
crash on start up

First you should delete all maps, poi's and so on you dont use.
Further you could search a tinier skin for the Nextgen.

70MB is so less ... im not sure if a navigation system will kwork with that
