I have a wince headunit as well (this model:) and noticed the app crashed during load up.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
What should I do to be able to use it?
Hi everyone.
Thanks for this great posts. I ran into problem with my head unit after placing this into my SD card.
I have tried Primo 2,4 9.6.13.405512
The head unit gps never lock on the signal so I could not get proper navigation. I've looked at this thread [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] on getting gps signal lock but it only works for android.
Can someone please point me in the right direction on other available guide if any to sort out this matter. Apologies is this isn't the right thread.

Welcome to forum. Not right place to ask, but I will move it later if needed.
There are several reasons for such a problem.
First of all, if you know which port and baud, you can fix them in the sys file. If you don't know them, look in folder \IGO\save\profiles\01\ there is file system.ini, there Primo record last used port & baud.
Second, there can be some physical problems - Antenna, antenna cable, connector, and unit itself.
And at least, although this version of the Primo works fine on 90% of the devices, it may happen that it does not work well on your HU.
In this case, first try with standard iGO8 (still works excellent on the most of devices), then with Primo first edition (9.2.1), then try with Primo 2.0 KIA edition, and if it does not go well, look for the ESX version. It only has some fundamental changes in the code and has been adapted for some more customized devices.
Yes, all of this will cost you free will and time, but it is for you.
P.S.
In future a little more information is good for solving the problem. That's why I created [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Read it
Not everything is necessary for every case, but some items will come to us well and provide guidelines for easier solution.
Absolutely nothing.
Mazda unit uses very customized iGO Primo 2.0 serie.
Google for Mazda forum and complete crack*d package of software and maps.
In the original software, the configuration is very complex, it would take a lot of time and effort to adapt the iGO to the device. Many, many, many effort.
Use sygic provided with unit. Or join Mazda forum.

Hi Boki,
Thanks for your reply and guidance.
Following your advice, I found out that my HU is a wince v5.0, has 128MB RAM and screen resolution of 800x480 and uses COM 1 port but never found out what's the baud rate therefore I've set it as 4800. The HU manufacturer is CASKA and here is the product link: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Initially when testing out this software w/0 any addons, it was all fine except no gps locked on but once all the desired maps, dem and POIs were added into the SD card, the HU crashed during load up. Found out in the crash log the cause of crash was because \Storage Card\mobilenavigator.map is missing. I know this might be an issue with the HU thinking the SD card supposed to be named MMC or SD instead of Storage Card therefore I'm perplex as to how the HU could work nicely with the same memory initially but won't afterwards.
Appreciate if you could enlighten me on sorting out this issue. Once again, if this thread is not appropriate for this discussion, please feel free to move or delete it if necessary.

That error means nothing.
The software writes this error in crash.txt even when everything works normally. Because it is cr*cked.
Your problem is on the other side.
And this is the situation and the problem that constantly occurs with the newcomers on forum. Never read the forum rulesAlways crossposting.
Do not post at several topics, always stick to one. People who could help you this way will certainly not, because they do not know all relevant data. And you did not leave important data about your problem in every post.
Edit:
posts from two different threads merged.
It may seem a little confusing now, but it happens when you are seeking solutions on all sides, but do not give up one the most important information at the very beginning![]()

I use a Rosen 2DIN which is actually made by Caska. On my Rosen, the GPS settings are COM1, 9600 baud - you might want to give that a shot for the GPS settings. It's a long shot, but worth a try if everything else is working except for GPS signal...
