Welcome to the forum.
Usually this means that you put the wrong version of the software, specifically that it is not appropriate for that resolution.
Problem is, 800x600 is not standard resolution, standard is 800x480. So, you'll have to look for specialized software or very non conventional version if it exists.
Add in sys.txt :
[interface]
resolution_dir="800_480"
Thank you for the replies.
I backed the SD card up and then deleted everything apart from the root folder RTInavi and then downloaded/unpacked the file from Boki and then made the change to sys.txt.
I am afraid none of this worked and when I press the navi button just beeps, not even an error message.
I noticed that my clarion software version is mcu v.2.36 nov 30 2012
Add in sys.txt :
[folders]
data="\SDMMC\Clarion" ; name location (SDMMC) \ name folder (Clarion)
Still just beeps, this is the contents of the system txt.
Spoiler: sys.txt

what is the name of your clarion mcu v.2.36 .exe file? I believe that when you are pressing the navi button it is expecting to run the clarion exe file. as you have change the navi program you will need to rename your igo exe to this and try again.
I believe this might be the issue. From what I have learnt the Clarion software runs with Tom Tom maps and a specific igo primo 2. However, I don't have the original card so don't know the file folder names or route name.
I get the error message around resolution if the .exe is called mobilenavigator and the route directory is called RTinavi
