Hi, does the Win CE iGO Primo 2.4 use a default communication Baud Rate and Com Port if you don't specify one in the sys.txt file?
My 2Din car Primo GPS works perfectly without specifying any Baud/Port nor any specific device type in the sys.txt. Either the Primo default Baud/Port happens to be the same as my 2din GPS or the software scans all available ports and picks the one that is active. It is probably the former because I see most of the sys.txt that people are using and they specify the Baud/Port. Although I wouldn't be surprise if the Primo does scans automatically the available Ports and looks for activity and the sys.txt entries are just carryover from older iGOs and aren't necessary.
So @upsss, as he said @Boki_Srb depends of your device.
UNLESS if you have one of this devices : data/config/devices folder.
Not all data.zip they have a list of devices, depend from where did you get it...![]()
OK, if Primo automatically detect the Baud/Port then what difference does it make which device you have, why "it depends on the device". Also, if the software detects automatically the Baud/Port device then specifying the Baud/Port in the sys.txt is redundant.

Because sometimes Primo does not fint port and baud after all and a little help in sys.txt (or sys.ini) is required.
The devices listed in the devices folder also need a sys.txt line that points to the specific device.
