I have the same issue with NO sound in my Philips CED1800BT unit with iGO 8.3.5. The IGO is not producing any sounds, but the music or radio whatever is playing in the background pauses to silence when pressing keys in IGO or when IGO makes a non-TTS or TTS announcement. I tried various other builds including Primo1.2, 2.0 and 2.4, but no success. Tried the sys.txt edit as you suggested, but again no change. Wondering if you could look at my sys.txt and system.ini from save folder and suggest a solution.
