Isn't the xgody - if I googled it correctly - an external WinCE-PNA 🤔 If it turns off when there is no more power, then the battery is probably defective, because otherwise the device would continue to work without external power

    Spoiler: Manual german

    Hello!
I think: if you make the entry in the sys.txt file so that the device does not turn off when the external power supply is lost
    section "[interface]" paste! "shutdown_time=0"
    The problem is solved.

If its battery is defective. nothing helps

Also, if the firmware of the device, actually its launcher, after losing external power has no option or is not able to switch to standby mode, same thing - no options in the sys file can compensate for current.

with this setting the device will continue to run on its internal battery when the power supply is disconnected

is in principle superfluous if the device, the navigation, is to continue working - which it does anyway, since power is available - regardless of internal/external - if the battery is in good condition.

Hi, is there a SYS.TXT option to force the Igo use SENSOR orientation even if the Android phone settings is "Portrait" locked?
I am using some other app for that, but it is not working entirely as expected...

And how would text file or exe or apk file know how your phone/device is facing?
    Not just iGO.

Is it possible to stop iGO from recalculating predefined tracks/routes that I want to drive?

As soon as I get off track iGO recalculates a new route to the destination but I want to be guided back to the original track.

This happens when I download a scenic route that I want to drive with the camper, but as soon as I get off track for groceries or a good nights rest it calculates a different one.

    Thanks!
Ooh it is iGO Nextgen PAL (on Android of course)

Good afternoon . Disable the following settings: Settings - Navigation screen - Suggest route options while moving - Suggest route options while moving - Disable.

    Thanks.
I had to translate that setting into Dutch and I guess/hope I found the correct switch. By it's name I never imagined it would stop recalculation of the current track. I will try this next time and see what it leads to.
