    Critical while you try to modify voice.zip files is to do the following:
    Save the changes you made in a lua file , BUT then you must wait for 2 sec in order the changes
    you have made to take action and to the voice.zip file too !!!
    Furthermore you should use a win rar 3.80 up to 3.93 (with other win.rar maybe you will get a corrupted .zip file).

    Another approach to modify .zip file:
    1.Open with a winrar the voice.zip file you want to modify...
    2.Copy the file you want to make changes (from the menu of winrar) and paste it to your PC.
    3.Make the changes to this file and save them.
    4.Open the voice.zip file with a win.rar (never unzip the voice.zip file): double click to the voice.zip
    5.Copy the file that you have made changes in your PC
    6.Then paste this file using the menu of winrar to the voice.zip file.

    To fix the pronunciation for driver alerts (that comes from map) you should open the file i18/dictionary.voice with a notepad and
    there you will find all the things that you want to modify.

    Furthermore inside the voice.zip in the file dictionary.voice if you set:

    Caution speed camera ahead="Caution speed camera be careful"
    Caution mobile speed camera ahead="Caution mobile speed camera ahead"
    Caution traffic light camera="Caution traffic light camera"
    ...........................................................................
    ...........................................................................

    and then you have in sys.txt:
    [speedcam_category:0]
    activated_spoken_type=speech
    activated_speech="Caution speed camera ahead"
    approach_beep_spoken_type=0
    approach_beep_speech=0
    approach_beep_sound=0
    overspeed_spoken_type=0
    overspeed_speech=0
    overspeed_sound=0
    warn_distances="150:2000,140:1800,130:1500,120:1400,110:1300,100:1200,90:1100,80:1000,60:700,50:600,40:500"

    then TTS will announce to you acurate this : Caution speed camera be careful

    I had been using version 5 of winrar so guess that was the problem. I have managed to change Yield to Give way and the file seems to work ok.

    I am still having issues with the road numbers. Now it will not say letter "A" it just says the number only. when I use the files on post #1 it said for example (eye)666, I666 instead of "A666" then when the simon/kate was modified it only said 666 and not a letter.

    How can I make it say the letter "A" pronounced "A" and not pronounced "I"(eye)

    Its not just A666 it mis-prnounces it does it will all A roads

    Unfortunately you can't !!!
    Your problem is too complicated. not only in TTS you use, but and in other languages TTS has some bugs...
    As you understand TTS works fine, for example the word : " Kate" it speeks the letter " a " as "a" and not as " i " .
    But as I said to you previous there are some bugs because TTS speaks not alone such if you have in your PC.
    TTS in iGO read to many things, lua files from iGO, lua files from TTS Pro voices, read map (and if the map has some errors?)...

    If you want to get deeper to voices then you must try to modify the file lexicon....., but I think you can not modify.

    So to make the long story short ,
    you can keep Loquendo TTS with all the qualifications he has and some errors that yo can fix them and some that you will never can fix ,
    or Try Nuance- has better pronounciation.
