Hello,
nice to ask a question here.
But I don't understand the question.
When you open your device you see windows CE interface?
Do you mean how to start the iGO8 programm?
Which is the resolution of your device (probably it is 800x480 ?)?
Does your Chinese device has a menu where you can set the path of the program you want to run?
Which program this chinese device run when you bought it?
Your device has a SD card or not?
Start again
When I start up my Chinese In Dash Multimedia unit, it default starts, on the GPS window.
I would prefer it to start up on the Windows CE GUI, and from there launch either the Multi media , via an Icon, or the GPS System via an acin
Your Questions answered, Maybe
The Unit always opens on GPS Window
There is a menu, but I do not fully understand the path to get Win CE to openfrom start up
Nothing has changed from first day I purchased it.
Misro SD, for maps.......Micro SD for Music/Movie
3 Leads,, 1) for Memory stick, USB, for maps, and general data
.............2) Ipod Connection
..............3) for direct hookup with laptop

Do you want a secondary menu to open when gps starts so you can choose different gps software?
Bazzle
I use a program called GPSMenu that you can add in the links and icons for different Navi programs
ie. iGO9, Primo, TTom, Sygic etc.
Bazzle
i think this may do what you are after but you have to pay for the download

on my in dash player if i let the navi program start then exit it , it then opens up a menu page with set up , i can go into set up and then navi set up and untick a box for automatic start of navi programme , restart the in dash and it goes straight to the menu
