For newer maps, try to find some thread where map links are live, nobody here do something, cause has to do, it's good will and gps enthusiast, so if you need it urgently, you can always buy it from NNG online shop! So, respect uploaders work, cause they do great job always! You have older version of iGO8, but you can use newest maps even with that build.

igo maps updating
Hi, new to all this. I have igo mapping on cheap tablet type sat nav system. folder in the system says igo9, but inside is this there is another file which says igo8 (8.3.4.102680). Maps for most of Europe date 2011.06
I have found what appear to be maps to download on here in thread by darkgremlin. But links are dead. I thought I needed to have posted 10 times for access but now know not true!
Hope the poster will be updating and that he can also tell me whether these are suitable for my system.
PS any advice on updating gladly received.
I think I just need to copy the file into the correct folder once downloaded. Taking care to back up the one which was working but old!Last edited by mickbr; 19th September 2012 at 06:29 PM.
