    @ BIRBANTE
I have Vocalizer installed and found the setting to replace words but still no idea how to change the accent .
As I said, it's not a real problem but I was just curious how TTS handles the accents in a word.

    [ Edit ]

    Strange, I found this one : Voice_TTS-svox-dut-f1-lua.zip
That one pronounces the words correct, tested on my tablet but when I add it
in de voice dir in my car Head unit ( exact same config as the tablet ) I can select it in the settings in iGO but
when I tab on it there is no sound.
When I select Voice_TTS-Pro-Android-Next-Nuance(ve)-Dutch-Xander-kajoe-v.9.181.zip sound is ok except the
    accents of course.
I don't understand why the first one does work on tablet but not in the car.
On both devices the same TTS engine ( Vocalizer TTS ) installed and set as preferred TTS.

There is an App on the Play Store that can help you, Text to Speech (TTS), I used it to create the audio files for the alerts in Italian for iGO, but it lets you listen to what you write. Use the system voice of the device so if you have Vocalizers installed use those.

Are you sure this "engine" isn't the one of the voices in the tts_nua_ve1 folder? They are still from Nuance but of slightly lower quality.
If you use the Universal Unisex "engine" you are sure that it makes you use the system voices of your device, even the Google voice.
Since Google's voice has also improved a lot in recent years, have you tried Maps?
Because at least you can use that instead of the Vocalizers.
