    Default frontzosd silver skin - Greek TTS

    Hi,
    The IGO NextGen Israel or Avicsync are working the wright way on my android car head unit, with the internal TTS voices.
    When I say wright way, I mean that the announcements are always recognized by the unit as the voice of the gps and give them priority over the music.

    I am using the frontzosd silver skin, but I can not find a valid link to download the correct “tts_nua_ve1” folder for Greek - meaning the one including the “grg” subfolder- in order to have Greek TTS voices.
    All possible links that I have found are not working.

    Can someone please provide me a valid link to use with NextGen Israel or Avicsync ?

    Thanks in advance
    Stavros

    On Avicsync the Internal TTS Voices (tts_nua_ve1) do not work, or use the VocalizerEx or the Voice Greek Universal Unisex which allows you to use the Google voice which should be default on your device.

    On Israel in addition to the options valid for Avicsync you can also use the Internal TTS tts_nua_ve1, if you do not find them there are several Greek users who will be able to post them to you.

    Hello...

    @kostostavr no problem... here you are... tts_nua_ve1
    two engines (Nikos - Melina) only greek:
    Spoiler: Link
    [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    but remember that these voices differ a little in some points into info.ini

    nua_ve_lang_dir="grg" <--- engine folder
    tts_engine="nuance_ve1" <--- choice engine instead "android"

    voice_model="full_vssq5f22" Nikos <--- choice model voice (male or female)
    voice_model="full_155mrf22" Melina

    Mille Grazie @BIRBANTE !
    Ευχαριστώ @modemakias !

    So, in order to have Greek TTS in my android car unit with the internal igo engine (nuance) , I have to use the Israel version or the luna version, correct ?

    Do I have any other option?

    (it’s a pity for the Avicsync - is super-fast ..)

    The tts_nua_ve1 voices I use for Israel also work for LUNA, the VocalizerEx I use for PAL also work for LUNA and Israel.

    The other option is the Voice Greek Universal Unisex which allows you to use the Google voice which is usually the one set by default on Android devices.

    In Italy the Nuance/Vocalizer even if they are the same as 5 years ago are better than the Google voice, in other languages it may be the opposite, the Google voice has improved a lot lately.
