Ah, now it makes sense. Remember I told you it didn't sound right? It's because the issue has nothing to do with voice setup directly.
What's interesting is the assignment of hardware key works for Primo but not NextGen.

You are right, the issue is not nextgen or voice engine or voice config.
I want to know why it work on Primo but not NextGen too, maybe someone could figure out why and edit sys.txt to make it work.
Very happy with Igo Pal and Pongo skin now.. thanks.

I have a Joying new Octacore TTS works fine provided you don't listen to the Radio if you are listening to MP3s no problem you prefer the Radio than don't use TTS
