    Hello dented,

    For Napier and Hastings in New Zealand, you will need four segments. If you use individual segments, it has advantages. You can better manage a territory. And also you can better expand areas with individual segments.
    The input to your area looks like this:

    S39,375 --> S39,500
    E176,750 --> E176,875
    +
    S39,375 --> S39,500
    E176,875 --> E177,000
    +
    S39,500 --> S39,625
    E176,750 --> E176,875
    +
    S39,500 --> S39,625
    E176,875 --> E177,000

    At the moment I can not download Google satellite maps via SAS.
    But maybe it works for you. Excuse me for my English, but I hope it helps.

    After many countless hours of work finally made raster maps for whole of city. Read the tutorials steps slowly and carefully on the web.

    Thank you for your help. I have now figured out how to construct the raster maps. I have made one which is working.

    Hi! When I try to create a raster map with a zoom greater than 18x (e.g. 20x), Raster NNG v3.1.5 creates a black tmp image and can't compiles/create a quality raster map. Do you know why, and what to do?

    There is also a difference between the raster map and the Here/TT maps that I failed to correct by changing the projection. I tried to change two or three projections and it's always the same way. They didn't fit, didn't match the paths. (see pic)

    Because of the fact that greater zoom have greater number of raster blocks. That number is greater than the number of blocks which apps can to process.
    - with z20 i never succeed too,
    - with z19 success only with SQ setting,
    - because of that i recommend z18 with HQ setting.
    ...and i think that is best solution if is used same filter (cubic in my opinion) in both apps.

    You should select Geographic projection for best result ...and, if you want to be able to see the house numbers on buildings i recommend you to try Overlays ...for Belgrade i prefer Yandex.

    EDIT: and, avoid working with online maps. Rather download it and make sure that all files are downloaded.

    Hello chopsticks,

    Also I have x19 and x20 zoom tested for you.
    With x19 zoom I get only a black tmp image and no raster map can be created.
    With x20 zoom I can not create *.jpg. Error message "Every map part must have height less than 65536 but exist 65904".

    I think the tools are not made for higher values than zoom x18.

    @sapere Exactly.
    @marx I tried to experiment with all the three options we have available (resize filter: Nearest/Bicubic/Bilinear; compression quality 0-100%; & Quality NNG/HQ/SHQ). Nothing helped. It will not work even with zoom settings 18x&SHQ.
    Spoiler: An error occurs

    I do not use overlays because they spoil the look. And from the providers I use those who have a newer and more beautiful shot (satellite crossing).

    I noticed the program only succeeds in compiling raster blocks with a zoom greater than 18x, with the following settings: Resize filter Bilinear; compression quality 70%; SHQ. But the result is again black tmp, and it's useless.
