help An alternative to a Windows Mobile Device Center

Aside from using crappy Windows Mobile Device Center, which were giving me a headache in the past week, what program do you use to view, edit, copy, paste files onto WinCe based device from your pc?
Out of three satnavs NONE would connect trough Windows Mobile Device Center.
OS on pc is Win7 Ultimate 64.
Windows Mobile Device Center installer is v6.1
Uncounted number of times i have install/uninstall M$ device center in a hope that it might work.
Worked well until a two weeks ago i guess.

Is there some kind alternative to WMDC?
    Pardon my french.
    Tia.

The alternative - does not exist. It is an operating system driver.
If the device will not connect, it is probably faulty, even whole series (it doesn't have to be physical, it can also be a firmware bug). The assumption is that the cable is correct.
In the other hand, i've seen a lot of problems on Win releases >=7, and because of that I have one computer running XP.

You can try to connect to the device via TTC and it's WinCE plugin. But still, you must first activate and establish protocol via MDC.
Nevertheless, transfer errors are highly possible.
Before asking a question, know it's already discussed here and at 99.9% is not unique. Use search.

    Spoiler: obs
Many questions become very arduous, a lot of time chewed deja vu...Since we have lost all the year of work and effort, many people have no will to answer the same questions again. Me neither. Use a search, please.

Late reply you must activate Active Sync/Windows Mobile Device Center on your device before your device will be seen by your PC.
I do it all the time.
