I use the cars navigation because I like the bigger screen and also I don't have a mount for my phone. I miss the general search features from the phone though because the cars built in is not great for searching.

Most of my time travelling, i'm not using any of navigation aplications, Mostly I'm using poi with speed cameras on VW group, and sometimes radarbot because it is very popular.

I used my galaxy s21 ultra for gps on road ,but now I also use the android screen of my car
using Igo Luna....tom tom....and google maps

For 12 years just the phones and tablets. Started with Nexus7 and never looked back for any dedicate and limited device.
