Hi I have a dedicated SatNav in my car which runs MYFord Touch on 8" Screen with the latest F6 Card
but i still like to dabble with my 6" Chinese Clone running Wince 5, I believe and iGO Primo, which im looking
for latest versions if anybody can point me in right directions, as I prefer a backup system if my car, throws
a wobbler, there is nothing worse than going somewhere where you have never been, and your satnav goes down..

Since my in-car navigation consists of an arrow pointing where to turn, I usually rely on Google Maps for my short-distance navigation needs. On longer voyages I prefer the bigger screen of my Garmin.

Right now im ussing Android but in some cases when im running out of GPS signal,i can say a good PDA or a GPS Navigation is better than the both products. But at least my phone got GPS receiver so always its slow as a turtle and that's why i preffer a GPS Navigation. :D

I learned to drive at 12 years old, always fast and testing limits, the type capable of driving any vehicle (with at least four wheels), in any situation, anywhere, if possible fast.
I trust my ability to rectify any situation to stay safe while driving.

To not be forced to slow down in low visibility situations, I started using the GPS to be able to see the road (I see moving objects easily); and only later, I discovered that it also assists to other things...

For this type of usage, Garmin Nuvi 3XXX is the best choice in my opinion.
More for the maps (first update released, more and best options) then for the device itself (in this case, the high resolution screen).
The truth is I only know well Garmin devices, only a bit of other GPSs; but seems to me the choice that better meet to my specific need.

    Best regards to all!

Just replaced my old Aldi sat nav with a chinese one for £32, does lots of things even plays films. I use it on my motorbike with speakers in the helmet. It has a headphone socket when tt & garmin etc dont! It is also realy loud & has dynamic volume so that the sound goes up the faster you go. Shows all speed cameras including mobiles etc. runs igo8. cant see why you need to use anything else at a rediculous price. Tried my smart phone on my motorbike but found it too messy especialy if it rang I would lose the app. much better to use a stand alone gps.
