Hi, unless you have made a typo in your message here, it could be because you haven't named the unl file same as the map file gMApsup2.img + gAMpsup2.unl (capital letters done by me to highlight).

Don't know if it's just a typo in the post - if it's like this on your device, for sure it won't work. It needs to be exactly the same name.

I don't think gmapsup2 works in the nuvi 2xx models, nor does the garmin/app folder idea. But you can use gmapprom1.img and gmapoem.mg in the garmin folder, with the slight annoyance that you can't deselect gmapoem.img via [Wrench icon]/Settings/Map(on second screen)/Map Info So you can have gmapbmap.img, gmapoem.img, gmapprom.img, gmapprom1.img, and gmapsupp.img in the garmin folder of a nuvi 2xx, and also a different gmapsupp.img in the garmin folder of an SD card (and then you can swap in and out as many SD cards as you like).
