It's fine not to include a quote when you're doing a following post, in fact it's better that way for the very reason you've stated.
Ok, you've got one of the Mediatek [MTK] chip 1300s, rare in AU. 620 is just the software [firmware] version, i.e. version 6.20 which is the latest. My pack for 0972 would simply be ignored by your MTK unit, the same as it will ignore the 3 other folders in Acleite's pack supplied by dasilvarsa and would only flash from the contents of the folder named 1104.
All garmin units have a section of the flash which is not user accessible. It's divided into 'regions' [rgn] numbered 1 to 255, but nowhere all are used. Region 16 contains the logo splash, that's what gets replaced with the 'senior' models rgn16 [16.bin in the Garmin folder] to enable the extra features. Region 41 is encrypted and contains vital and unit-specific info, including unlock codes. In the event that a unit gets badly bricked and is not recoverable any other way, it may be possible to fix it by restoring rgn41 from a backup [41.bin].
When you get this working DON'T have more than one JCV file and only in one location. So DON'T have them both, or one duplicated on both the unit and microSD. Choose one or the other but never both. I'd get rid of the smaller one. You must make sure that you always have the right one for a new map and get rid of any older version map's jcv files too.
For the flash, you can do a 41 backup using the guide in that thread and then flash with the universal pack. Or you can flash with this pack specifically only for 1104 MTK units with the rgn41 backup included:
