The name of your .rgn file must correct if you name as xxxx0100yyy.
Or try as out.rgn instead.

I tried with out.rgn and looks like it worked. Now I will try today. Actually My garmin was stuck on garmin symbol with lodding lodder and it never restarted and I have to force shutdown. thats why I am saying it look like worked. Hope for the best

when I did this way, look initially that garmin is getting update but my garmin gps stuck with loader loading and nothing happens that after word, and I need to shutdown force fully and on computer some error comes up??? I dont know my unit is really got update>>> I tried with little ride on my car looks like dont not work???
how do you confirm that it working or not???

If garmin gps stuck with loader loading ., it means updating failure.
The better way is going back to your original firmware.

Use original firmware opened with RGN_Tool and then save to out.rgn to flash your nuvi to original firmware.
This time it should be flashed perfectly.

If your nuvi say no update available you dont have apropriet file for him.

Do you have 972,971,1104,1106 in garmindevice.xml?
What is your number for SW: 5.30?

NO I dont have any of above file in my garmindevice.xml fine
yes my software updated with 5.30

If you have done with original US gcd saved to .rgn so your unit now come back to original US unit.
Because you got stuck so I just advice you to get original firmware and then you can step forward carefully.
You have to know what you are doing then you won't miss somethings.

At first., you have to know what hwid of your unit is.

can you tell me other simple way to get jcv file to work. I tried back to my original rgn and now I am trying again to flash with 1st post still same thing happens.
