EU JCV for nuvi 22xx is designed for split screen.
Download JCV for series 22xx and will work on SG firmware.

is there any way to know if the newere 2350 has the same chipset as the 13xx/14xx chipset? The 2350 has more features and I wonder if I could flash it onto my 1450

I don't think so.
2350 contain of boot + fw_all.
1xxx contain of boot + fw_all + resources

I tried it with window xp, but still pop up window open and say no update available and so I can not use updater.??? any help please

updater.exe and appropriate rgn file (only 1 rng file!) must be in the same directory. Also, the name of the directory shoud be short.

The name of your .rgn file must correct if you name as xxxx0100yyy.
Or try as out.rgn instead.

I tried with out.rgn and looks like it worked. Now I will try today. Actually My garmin was stuck on garmin symbol with lodding lodder and it never restarted and I have to force shutdown. thats why I am saying it look like worked. Hope for the best

when I did this way, look initially that garmin is getting update but my garmin gps stuck with loader loading and nothing happens that after word, and I need to shutdown force fully and on computer some error comes up??? how do you confirm that it working or not???

If garmin gps stuck with loader loading ., it means updating failure.
The better way is going back to your original firmware.

Use original firmware opened with RGN_Tool and then save to out.rgn to flash your nuvi to original firmware.
This time it should be flashed perfectly.

If your nuvi say no update available you dont have apropriet file for him.

Do you have 972,971,1104,1106 in garmindevice.xml?
What is your number for SW: 5.30?
