there is a GUPDATE.GCD inside the .system folder. I assume it is the correct .gcd file for Sg/Mal firmware ?
I just found out turboccc they start look into the china firmware, which have more feature than sg/Mal ?? i had not manage to read all the post one by one yet.. I just know they manage to add MP3 into the china firmware.

Chinese swv 2.20 is the best for 37xx now.
With calendar., contact., mp3 player.

since there wasn't any boot loops on the system when i started, i think i can say i had a succesfull flashing on my US 3790t with chinese fw ver 2.20, however, i only get the calendar and contact as additional features. the mp3 is not on it. also how can i install the original keyboard from the us firmware. all i get now is the "abc" keyboard. i want to revert back to the "qwery" type one. thanks

I am failed to convert it from US to CHN.
Now, It keep reboot ... tried the andy way also cannot access..

Hi
Im a newbie. Am trying to follow instructions given to convert 3790T us to SG/My. Seems clear enough. However I've noted there was already two GCD files in Remote SW subfolder in the hidden systems folder, Presumably I should be using the one with a later date ? Is a GCD created every time you update through web updater? Prior to reading this thread , I had updated my 3790T through webudater and it is now on V3.6 . Is this the correct firmware for US or inadvertently updated to Europe (or other region) firmware? Can i still proceed to do the conversion to SG/My. Thanks for your help! Din
