Guys, I've just installed a map (CityNavigator South America NT 2013.20) on my 1450LMT in the map folder just like mentioned here.
The map was recognised, however it keeps showing the message "locating satellite" and never finds it. Any idea about what to do?

Do a backup of any files you want saved, then do a hard reset. (With the unit off, hold a finger in the bottom RH corner of the screen and turn it on. A message will pop up 'Do you really want to erase all user data?', select 'Yes'). Then place the unit in an outdoor location with a clear view of the sky and it should get a satellite fix, but initial fix may take longer than usual.

What with the JVC is goig to normal folder .System/JVC ???

Either of these 2 paths will work:

unit:/.System/JCV/correct_jcv_ filename.jcv
or
card:/Garmin/JCV/correct_jcv_ filename.jcv

If we use the roadguide map, will jcv still work? Or do we have to use the cityguide philippines 2012 map

You must only use a jcv file which has been made for a particular map and that even includes within the same series [i.e. a jcv from a previous version of the same map series will not work with a later map version, and one from a different map series certainly won't work].
NB: This thread is about multiple maps on 1xxx series. JCV questions are a little OT really.
