Thread: Tutorial: How to instal Garmin XT on a Sony Ericsson SATIO

Here we go!!

1. Download GarminMobileXTforSymbianS603rdEdition_50060 (download link:

2. Extract it with winRar

3. Connect your mobile with your PC and chose (Mass storage)

4. Execute extracted file and chose (SETUP) and wait for a moment

5. After a moment a new window will appear for installation Garmin Mobile XT, chose (REMOVABLE DRIVE) and chose install.

6. After installation chose done, now you have installed Garmin mobile on your memory card on your phone.

7. After the installation disconnect your Satio from PC. On your Satio go to Office -> File mng. -> Memory card -> Garmin (folder) -> GarminMobileXT.sis and install it (chose open).

8. Now Garmin is installed on your Satio. Go to My apps -> GMobileXT, start the application. After starting app. cancel searching for GPS signal.

9. Go to Tools -> Settings -> About there is a Cars ID: xxxxxxx

10. Start Jetmouse keygen and enter the Card ID

11. Generate it.

12. Connect your mobile again with your PC, chose MASS STORAGE

13. Open an new notepad document, and copy your generated key

14. Now save that document as: File -> Save as -> (location) My Computer -> Memory card -> Garmin (in folder)

15. In the file name enter ( SW.unl ) and in Save as type chose ( all files ) and click save.

16. Now you have installed and unlocked Garmin Mobile XT on your mobile. Next step is to install maps that you need.

17. choose a map from

18. Install Mapsource on your PC

19. From now on follow this tutorial

Download Garmin city Navigator :

20) download files and extract them


21)Go to the extracted folder and then go to the IMG folder


22) Choose an setup with your desired language, in this example i've chosen for dutch (nederlands), press right mouse click and INSTALL the map:


23)open mapsource, then you get this screen, press overslaan(skip)


run in gmap folder this tool

Mapsource installations create in your hard disk a folder, sometimes named gmap ,sometimes named Family followed by its mapid-(go in Mapsource- manage your maps to see where it is located)
If you want easily unlock , download this file, put the file inside the gmap or the in the Family folder and run .

24) Choose which countries you want to have on your GPS and press the upload button
