Trying to solve a problem here. Latest update to 8.60 EMEA/APAC ended up locking aftermarket battery usage. Perfect way by Garmin to make everyone buy their super expensive batteries . Now I tried to downgrade it to 7.90 but apparently the file I found on this forum is meant for other region , as I got an error by updater that Region is not good. I contacted Garmin and some chap from Poland told me that Garmin doesn't do downgrades of software either . Does anyone have Alpha100_8.30.gcd ? Or some lower versions for EMEA maybe?

When you say this: "I got an error by updater that Region is not good." - Do you mean that Updater.exe was unable to write data to a certain region? If so, please tell us exactly what was the error message.
Also best to give a link to the file you found which you think is for some other market region. Frankly, that doesn't make sense seeing that all Alpha 100 devices have HWID 1562 and use the exact same firmware. The regional differences in devices are set at the factory and include geo-limiting of radio frequencies to effectively stop use of, for example, an Alpha from North American in EU or Oceana.
If you wish to downgrade, i have several versions including both 7.90 and 8.30:
