It has encrypted software and there is no way to patch it. A solution does not exist.

Drive, DriveSmart 52,55,65,71 zumo XT ,Alpha 200i, Montana 700 are all in the same category.

The best would of been for all of you to have done research on the Alpha 200i before you went and bought the unit.

What you say is not true!!! There are already those who are capable of making this conversion and more, unfortunately the information is not shared. But I assure you that you can convert any Alpha 200 or 300 to any region without touching the firmware.
