    Things to try:
Connect directly to a REAR port of PC only; Use a USB 2 port not a USB 3 and not thru a hub; Use a different USB cable; Use a different PC.

i jsut did it with my Garmin driveluxe 50, Thanks
1- what i did was afrer using GarminCure 3 tool, i have started the device and just a secund befor it shows the Garmin logo, i inserted the usb into the pc and then the pc finally read the Garmin.
2- how did i bring it back to life, at the PC open
the Garmin properties, select (Tools) then (Check) the PC will check the garmin device disk for error, if it found an error, press fix disk, the PC will correct all Garmin internal disk error then you good to go.

DO NOT bold and use large font for complete post.
    It is like shouting.
Next time will be trashed without further warning.
