    2585TV is definitely a Linux image (just like an .update file). After mounting you'll see (amongst other things)
    boot.img.gz
    bootloader.img.gz
    system.img.gz
    userdata.img.gz

    So what would we need to manipulate?

    Update: I see evidence of Android proggy.
