problems with voice on nuvi 1490

Again I have bought a nuvi 1490 second hand and again I have some problems.

When switching on the nuvi immediately does not show the "Garmin" with the blue triangle but an "Opel logo" picture - after a few seconds it changes to the startup screen I had selected.

And the more inportant problem: the nuvi does not recognize the text-to-speech TTS-voices, eg "Voice, British English-Daniel (TTS)" and on the "Voice" page I cannot select a voice that speaks street names.

What I did till now:

Made a hard reset.

Updated all firmware webupdater did propose to update - twice.

Entered the "hidden" pages by pressing the "battery" icon on the first screen,

on the page "Versions Information" - Start Test - More - I found that the nuvi is a non-MTK B 0972
and I found "Splash D0825-26 2.00 Opel"

On the "Audio Test Page" I found "Current Phrase - INCOMPATIBLE AUDIO"
EDIT: right now checked a nuvi 1450 and also there I found "Current Phrase - INCOMPATIBLE AUDIO" but it is working ok

And when I have been pairing the this nuvi with my cell phone by bluetooth, my cell phone wrote "pairing to a nuvi 7x5"

I suppose I could overcome these problems with a cure firmware or is there a more simple solution?

First follow [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to avoid problems playing with nuvi

Then try to change logo.bin [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
You can use files from acleite here too:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
this way you'll have your original logo backup too.
After that run webupdater for sw and other files too, reset and check if something has changed.

It have been interesting two hours!

I did backup Nuvi NV (region41) with sd and it did work perfectly!
Then I did change back to the original logo.bin and after that I could choose the TTS-voices again!
It seems that after changing the logo.bin to some Opel logo.bin the TTS-voices became unuseable.

And someone of the former users did choose "nuvi 7x5" as the bluetooth name of this 1490....
All problems solved! Thank you for your help!
