OK - I'll do it, but tomorrow as I''m too tired and as I'm tired I'll make some stupid mistake.
What do you mean with full format - RMPREPUSB do full format don't it?

I too make stupid mistakes when i'm tired [read 'tired & emotional' lol] so i can empathize with that feeling. Such as 'GPX' when of course i meant 'Garmin', sorry for that. It was actually a lazy copy & paste of a working command i used yesterday for copying a suspect GPX folder off a late model device which have GPX in the root, then i forgot to change it before posting.
In the cold hard light of a new morning [read sober] and seeing that ergn,48 didn't work for you i agree that there's no other viable option than to attempt erasing rgn41 now. If you get error as happened with trying ergn,48 this unit's maybe in big trouble, however i do now have a hazy recollection that 48 can't be erased on 2x5/W but i might be quite wrong there.
Yes, RMPREPUSB will do a full format. I think kunix just didn't want you to use the windows built-in tool that's all. Follow the instruction in the initial post of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] after you have cured it using kunix's cure as he said here:
