What i have and what have happened:
1) Nuvi 3590LMT, SW 8.10, HWID 1258.
2) Device suddenly froze in navigation mode. After soft reset first stage of booting was normal but without "loading maps" and the screen became strange - many pixels with an inscription "not image found". Next resets (soft with holding power button) - same picture. But there are some clickable letters on screen - so i have made "clear all user data" - with no result globally.
3) PC (i tried different units with installed Garmin drivers) not sees device, updater.exe (nuvi in pre-boot mode) too - i can't use GarminCure3.
4) I have NV backup, so i tried to restore it - result - boot screen with "system software missing" and error in log file.
5) And checking of SD showed that it broken totally - RMPrepUSB can't recognize it, Windows can't format it.
But the device can still enter in pre-boot mode, so - experts, help me please if possible.gif "beating")

Retry Garmin cure.
Before doing anything Drag&Drop the rgn file you want to flash to your device ( kunix's cure) in Updater.exe and it will open in your desktop, after that put your nuvi in pre-boot.
Post please (without id) NV backup restore log error message4) I have NV backup, so i tried to restore it - result - boot screen with "system software missing" and error in log file.

Yes, catymag, i have tried to flash cure rgn (made on kunix's method) but no success - Updater.exe not recognize device in pre-boot mode... (Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit systems - tried many times with cleaning drivers in Windows device manager - when i connect nuvi in pre-boot mode - installing drivers - sometimes unsuccessfully sometimes successfully but updater not sees - or, maybe, too short pre-boot mode. But i tried to switch on nuvi already connected to PC and pass in pre-boot mode - the same.)

You must have Updater opened on desktop after dragged .rgn in it, Updater will show your unit in its box for a couple of seconds, no more.
You have to navigate to get to the good.

Just tried, updater recognized nuvi, then updating process (very short - couple sec) and message from updater:
Some problem with....
App: Updater
At: 2/27/2014 5:20:07 PM (UTC)

After nuvi reboot and i see software missing message on screen again
Or it normal and i can to move further?

I guess Updater didn't load cure.
Wait for Kunix advices, if flashing from sd doesn't work too, I don't know how to help you sorry

About cure i thing so too... Then i try to format this problem sd-card, PC showed me blue screen of death!

I think there is another way, but I'm not sure it can work with your model, so better to wait for kunix or Lolypop000.
Have you tried to run chkdsk on sd card?
Try to format it with a phone

And RAW format in disk features...

Ducadim,
There are many signs of flash chip damage:
1) update.log shows UnitID=0. That means region 0x22 was erased. Normally, It doesn't get erased accidentally.
2) xrgn,41 failed.
3) "NO IMAGE FOUND" instead of images. That means region 0x7F was erased. Normally, It doesn't get erased accidentally.
4) You can't flash firmware in pre-boot mode
So, personally, I think your unit is very very sick, and it can't be repaired using purely software methods.
